In fact, *gasp*, THEY could even be vegan! I always tell them - you don't have to march in protest rallies, you just have to stop buying and using dead animals. Honestly, veganism is a pretty basic and easy thing to do.The Voracious Veganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13509936161614394899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8765297910109433447.post-7524273151385531462009-10-17T12:38:49.980-07:002009-10-17T12:38:49.980-07:00Yep! No stereotypes, just a lot of "just me's", living abolition in their everyday, unique and personal lives. And that is a beautiful thing.

Thanks for reading!Nathan Gilmorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09960042374838453582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8765297910109433447.post-71471413949350827452009-10-17T02:46:20.815-07:002009-10-17T02:46:20.815-07:00Oh. I wish you posted more *hint hint* because I love to read what you write. Your ideas flow and build and coalesce so naturally and fluently that they are just a joy to read. I love it!

This post definitely hit home for me. When I became a vegan, I feel like I finally became the REAL me. Does that make sense? It was like the curtain got pulled back, I had my little light bulb moment, and then I could finally get comfy in the place I was meant to be all along. Of course...I was still me.

When people hear that I am a women's rights activist, vegan, and I have *ahem* questionable politics...they are shocked that when they finally meet me I am just a normal looking woman. No tattoos, no shaved head, no brass knuckles with which to punch every man I encounter in the face, and no buckets of red paint to toss on leather wearing omnivores. Nope. Just me!The Voracious Veganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13509936161614394899noreply@blogger.com
